Where It All Began

I first started taking photos around 13, running around town with my friends & turning ordinary hang outs into creative little adventures. My parents had gifted me a camera for my 13th birthday since I had some interest in my mom's, who was a photographer herself. I was always drawn to her camera & would constantly sneak in time to play with it. Since then, photography has followed me through high school film classes, college photo courses, a few different degrees & career paths, & every season where I’ve found myself wanting to create, connect, and notice the beauty in people. My attention to detail has always been a constant in my life; even if it hasn't been through photography.

Early adulthood

So many places traveled, mistakes made, & blessings felt. Life redirected me in so many ways. I look back grateful to have experienced such a spectrum of opportunities with friends before we all settled into our busy 9 to 5's.

Every Path Led Me Back to the Camera

I truly never could just pick one direction. A little bit of everything. My degrees in the arts, science, dental hygiene, & health studies have shaped who I am & the way I photograph everything around me. I notice details. I care deeply. I communicate enthusiastically. I use my hands to help, fix, create, comfort, & capture. Whether I’m photographing your wedding, your family, your love story, or a season of life you never want to forget, I’m not just there for the perfectly posed moments; I'm there for it all: understanding gentle cues & how to read the room, while being someone your family & friends can chat with, about anything & everything.

Expecting the unexpected

After I graduated dental hygiene school & began working, I felt myself itching to be creatively challenged again. Naturally, I fell back onto my photography as a little side gig, & ended up shooting a friends wedding towards the end of 2024 by myself. I can't really describe how it felt other than it felt like me. It pulled me back into my visual diaries & redirected me down a road I never truly envisioned myself shooting before. Before I knew it, I had multiple weddings booked for the summer & I began to become increasingly inspired to learn more & to make my craft better. BUT of course, life had other plans; just as the summer came to a close and I began to plan shoots for the end of 2025/2026, my partner and I found out we were expecting our first!

The present & Postpartum

Yeehaw! Here we are now; a mom who has been on maternity leave & finally has decided its time. I've never slowed down like this before so naturally I had to do something with this maternity leave. Other than sleep a lot and not at all, bask in the newborn bubble, & enjoy this amazing time with my new little bestie, I am officially rebranding myself, my passion, my path, & giving my photography a true push towards "something?" which could be anything. BUT we are doing it. I have officially gone full throttle with some doubt & much confidence; Miranda Belle Photography, LLC is here to stay and grow with you.
